- How do you play a falling-block puzzle?
- Shapes made of four cells drop into a tall well one after another. You move each shape sideways and rotate it as it falls so the pieces interlock without leaving holes. When a horizontal row is completely filled it clears and the blocks above slide down, which is how you score and keep room to play.
- How do I score more points?
- Clearing more rows in a single drop is worth far more than clearing them one at a time, so it pays to build up a flat surface and then clear several rows together with a long piece. Dropping a shape quickly also earns a small bonus, and the higher level you reach the more each clear is worth.
- When does the game end?
- The game ends when the stack of locked blocks reaches the top of the well and a new shape has no room to appear. Because the shapes fall faster at higher levels, the way to last longer is to clear rows steadily and avoid building tall columns or leaving gaps you cannot fill.
- Does my score get saved, and does this work offline?
- Your best scores are saved in your own browser on this device, so they are still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to a server. Once the page has loaded it keeps working with no connection.
